This structural arrangement provides a 'harmonica effect,' resulting in an internal symphony of relaxing tones. As ferries or boats pass by, the volume really rises. It doesn't strike you as very enthralling visually. However, if you take a seat on the stairs and listen carefully, you will become immersed in the sea's melody.
