The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a 2011 neo-noir psychological thriller film based on Stieg Larsson's 2005 novel of the same name. It tells the story of Blomkvist's investigation into what happened to a wealthy family's missing daughter 40 years before. He enlists the assistance of Salander, a computer hacker.
