The Global College
The Global College is a co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 15 to 18, delivering a unique IB Diploma Programme based on IE University's history and ideals. It accomplishes this through a highly personalized curriculum, excellent mentoring and career assistance, and a focus on the skills required in a world of rapid technological change.
It is an intellectually difficult and balanced education curriculum with final examinations that prepares students aged 15 to 18 for success at university and in life after high school. It was created to address students' intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being, and it has earned the recognition and esteem of the world's finest universities.
Students enrolled in the IB Diploma Programme choose six subjects from six subject groups (arts disciplines are electives that another subject from the previous groups can replace). Three of the six disciplines are studied at Higher Level (HL), with each subject requiring 240 teaching hours over the course of two years.
The boarding community is important to school life at The Global College. The Vice Principal for Pastoral Care, House Master, and House Parent will supervise students in a welcoming and lively environment.
The campus is located at 8 Castellón de la Plana St. in Madrid's Barrio de Salamanca neighborhood. IE Business School previously utilized it but is now home to The Global College due to collaboration with IE University.
The facilities are intended to give kids their first pre-university experience rather than their final two years of high school. It is available outside of class hours, including weekends, to give students comprehensive assistance in completing their Baccalaureate.
