The Las Arenas Barcelona
The Las Arenas de Barcelona is a commercial shopping complex located in Plaça España. This structure was first used as a bullring but was reconstructed and designed as a mall in March 2011 by Richard Rogers. Arenas de Barcelona is now a shopping, sports and music center with 360 degrees panoramic city views on the rooftop.
The Las Arenas de Barcelona shopping complex is strategically located in Barcelona, in front of the Plaza de Espana and at the foot of the Montjuic museum. The Arenas de Barcelona serves as the main gear of the shaft conceived by the Palacio Nacional, the iconic building built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition, which now houses the National Museum of Catalan Art, the Centre Fira de Barcelona Congress. It has direct connections to two metro lines and the Catalan Railway.
Arenas is a large shopping mall located at the Plaza de Espana roundabout. From the top floor is a beautiful view of Montjuic. The place is massive with lots of stalls to keep the shopper's business running. Tourists often consider this shopping center as a place of entertainmentduring their stay in Barcelona.
