The Lookout Cafe
The Batoka Gorge, the Victoria Falls bridge in the distance, and the river running beneath are all visible from this vantage point. The Lookout Café is one of the resort town's most well-known eateries and has always been a popular destination. The café was restored after being destroyed by fire in 2018, and it reopened in 2019 with a fresh new style, increased seating capacity, and many other amazing amenities.
In the heat of the day, the café's semi-open design keeps it cool and comfortable. It has a laid-back vibe and is perfect for a light lunch after a stroll through the little town or a refreshing drink while guests regain their breath after high-wire activities like the Flying Fox and the Gorge Swing. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m, and only serves breakfast on weekends. Salads, sandwiches, coffees, and a variety of innovative cocktails are among the menu's many options.
There is an A' la carte menu as well as a set menu to choose from. Guests can make reservations and use the complimentary shuttle service, although walk-ins are also welcome. The cafe seats 80 people comfortably and can accommodate groups, making it an exclusive venue for small private events. The Lookout Café also has a monthly special that is both intriguing and distinctive. By moonlight, diners will be treated to an even more spectacular view of the Victoria Falls Bridge. The café is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for one night only for moonlight dining.
