Navigator Co SA manufactures and sells pulp, paper and energy. The company's segments are based on product type. Pulp market segmentation, selling pulp paper to international paper manufacturers. UWF segment sells paper through retail stores (B2C) and commercial distribution (B2B). Tissue segment, dealing tissue paper with private labels to domestic and international retail chains. The Biomass renewable energy segment includes cogeneration units and two independent and supporting thermal power plants. Most of the revenue comes from the Rest of Europe.

Navigator is a synthetic forestry producer whose products are pulp & paper, paper towels and energy. Its operation is based on modern, large-scale industrial units using the most advanced technology and is the standard for quality in the field. It is Portugal's third-largest exporter and largest value-added producer, accounting for about 1% of GDP and about 3% of the total value of Portugal's exports.

At present, the total annual production capacity of the company is nearly 1.6 million tons of paper and 1.5 million tons of pulp per year, of which about 80% is integrated into paper production, 130 thousand Tissue and 2.5 TWh of electricity per year. Navigator products are shipped to approximately 130 countries on five continents, focusing on Europe and the United States, thus achieving the most comprehensive international presence among Portuguese companies. The company also operates cogeneration units and two independent thermal power plants. The company was formerly Portucel, S.A. and changed its name to The Navigator Company, S.A. in February 2016.
