The Old Guard
The Old Guard is a 2020 American superhero film directed by Gina Prince-By the Wood and written by Greg Luka based on the comic book of the same name. The film stars Charlize Theron, Kiki Lane, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Meling, Van Veronica Ngo and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and follows a team of immortal mercenaries on a mission of revenge. In particular, this Netflix movie takes you to the mysterious Undeath. The group is led by a warrior named Andy, along with 4 other members who have fought the enemy for centuries to protect the world. The movie tells the story of how they go on an emergency mission and find a new member with the same powers, but tragically as some members begin to lose their superpowers.
