The Venetian Resort
The Venetian Resort, an all-suite resort delivers, with spacious bedrooms (the smallest are 650 square feet) and bathrooms with large Roman soaking tubs and private water closets with phones. The majority of the rooms are split into two levels, with a sleeping space on one level and a sunken living area on the other. There are two 46-inch LCD TVs in the bedroom and one in the living room, as well as a third 19-inch TV in the bathroom.
The Venetian's Prestige Suites are club-level rooms with a private lounge. Prestige access is included in Grand Suites, but with more space, a marble lobby with double doors, and the option of a complete one-bedroom suite. The Prestige Club Lounge access is well worth the money; it comes with daily continental breakfast and private check-in, which is especially helpful on busy weekends. The Venetian's public rooms, particularly the Colonnade Lobby, evoke an Italian Renaissance castle with a variety of marble hues, sculptures, and hand-painted paintings, ceilings, and murals. The Grand Canal Shoppes mall is part of the resort, as are the resort's famous Venetian waterways. It's a must-see Vegas sight and a 20-minute ride costs around $34 per person ($39 on weekends).
