Thousand Islands
Specked all-around a 50 mile stretch of the St. Lawrence River is a large number of little islands. They are situated along a stone rack reaching out from the Canadian Shield to the Adirondack Mountains in New York, the United States, with the limit running between the islands. It is an area of incredible beautiful magnificence any season, yet particularly lively in pre-winter during foliage season.
Working between mid-May and mid-October, boat visits among the labyrinth of islands show consistently changing vistas and incorporate looks at occasion homes that reach from the plainest of log lodges to the most sumptuous of summer manors. Perhaps the most astounding sight in Thousand Island is the dazzling Boldt Castle dating from 1900.
