Tread Labs
Mark Paigen - the creator of the Chaco sandals - founded Tread Labs. Tread Labs varies from the other models on our list because it consists of two independent and detachable components: the first one is a plastic arch for stability and strength, while the second one is a replaceable lid for cushion and shock absorption!
The durable plastic mold is guaranteed for a million miles (in other words, for the rest of your life). Meanwhile, the detachable cushion will need more regular replacement, but given the cheap cost, it will be no huge problem!
This injection-molded plastic component also provides immense convenience and ample breathing room for your foot. Still, they might not be convenient for those with broad feets; so if your feet are too broad for the heels or your arch is excessively prominent, you may experience some irritation similar to stepping on a rock. Fortunately, they offer a 90-day refund policy, so you may return them and change them to another size!
So what about the prices? Well, your very first pair will cost around $65; however, new top pads are only a mere $16. Expensive ones often enjoy medical-grade and extra-firm construction more than less-priced ones, so you don't have to be worried that Tread Labs insoles are not worth your spent money!
