Union Hand-Roasted Coffee was founded in 2001 by Steven Macedonia and Jeremy Torz with the intention of "bringing the west coast back to London." They started with roasting in their parents’ garden shed and then developed their business into Union as we know it today.

Today, Union has improved the lives of more than 65,000 individuals in coffee-producing countries. The brand is also proud to have won The Queen’s Award for Sustainable Enterprise in 2017 for its pioneering sourcing model.
