Universidad del Caribe (University of the Caribbean) is a non-profit private higher-education school located in the metropolitan setting of Santo Domingo (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Distrito Nacional, which was founded in 1995. In Monte Plata, this institution has a branch campus.
