Universidad Nacional de Asunción (National University of Asunción) ranks first in the top of the best universities in Paraguay. It was founded in 1889 and is a non-profit public higher education school located in Asunción, a big city with a population of 500,000-1,000,000 people. The Universidad Nacional de Asunción (UNA) is a coeducational Paraguayan higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Educación Superior (National Council of Higher Education of Paraguay).
