Juba University of Juba is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburbs of Juba, Central Equatoria (population range of 250,000-499,999). It began as a non-profit public higher education school in 1975. The University of Juba (JU), which is officially recognized by South Sudan's Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, is a large coeducational South Sudanese higher education institution with a large student body (Topuniversitieslist enrolment range: 10,000-14,999 students).


The University of Juba (JU) offers a number of courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, including pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates and diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees in a variety of subjects.
