University of Juba

Juba University of Juba is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburbs of Juba, Central Equatoria (population range of 250,000-499,999). It began as a non-profit public higher education school in 1975. The University of Juba (JU), which is officially recognized by South Sudan's Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, is a large coeducational South Sudanese higher education institution with a large student body (Topuniversitieslist enrolment range: 10,000-14,999 students).

The University of Juba (JU) offers a number of courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, including pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates and diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees in a variety of subjects.

This South Sudanese higher-education institution, which has been in operation for 45 years, features a stringent admissions process that is based on a student's previous academic record and grades. Students also have access to a variety of academic and nonacademic facilities and services at Johns Hopkins University, including a library, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, and administrative services.
