The University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Ja.), previously known as the College of Arts, Science, and Technology, is a public university in Jamaica. In 1958, the Jamaica Institute of Technology was established. The College of Arts, Science, and Technology (CAST) was established the following year and was formally recognized by an Act of Parliament in 1964. In 1986, it was granted degree-awarding authority, and a governing council and academic board were formed. On 1 September 1995, the college was granted university status under its current name, and permanent provision for the university was made by the University of Technology, Jamaica Act 27, which became law on 29 June 1999.
University of Technology, Jamaica grew from just over 50 students and four programs in 1958 to become one of Jamaica's top tertiary education institutions, with a student population of over 12,000 today. It now offers over 90 certificate, diploma, and degree programs through its five faculties and three colleges.
The University of Technology, Jamaica has eight colleges and faculties that offer courses:

- Faculty of Education & Liberal Studies (FELS)
- Faculty of Engineering & Computing (FENC)
- Faculty of Law (FOL)
- Faculty of Science & Sport (FOSS)
- Faculty of The Built Environment (FOBE)
- Joint Colleges of Medicine, Oral Health & Veterinary Sciences
The University Council of Jamaica has either accredited or granted Candidacy for Accreditation status to the university's degrees. The Commonwealth Association of Architects also recognizes BArch and MArch degrees.
