Utrecht University

The Utrecht Veterinary University, a part of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Utrecht, is the only place in the Netherlands to train veterinarians. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (hence the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) is the center and reference point of expertise in veterinary issues around the world as well as abroad. Their activities include providing primary health care for a variety of animal species, monitoring food safety, and preventing zoonotic diseases (animal-to-human transmission).
