The Karnataka-based company was started in 1982 and is one of India's largest-selling helmet manufacturers due to its extensive product line. It was the flagship brand of the Vega Group of Companies. The company's product line has grown over the years, and it now includes accessories such as motocross goggles, side boxes, and scarves. The pricing is fairly reasonable.

Numerous in-house product names at Vega include Breeze, Cliff, Crux, Edge, and Evo. They go by names like Aster, Atom, Blaze, and Cruiser in the open-face category.
