Viking Ruins

The remains of Eric the Red's 1,000-year-old Norse colonies are among the most well-liked sights to view in southern Greenland. Around 5,000 Norsemen are thought to have resided in all of Greenland at one time. The reason for the communities' demise is yet unknown.
