Vinegar and dishwashing liquid
You may rely on this tip to destroy fruit flies because they are easily attracted to mixed odors. You get a bowl ready and combine one of the aforementioned lures with vinegar and dishwashing liquid (either dish soap or laundry detergent). After that, you cover the bowl with plastic and make a few holes for the flies to fly through. Place traps in areas where water won't splash.
Flies will be drawn into the trap by the fragrance of the bait. All of their escape routes will be blocked by Nilon shutting the bowl, and they will eventually perish from eating soap in the trap. Just toss the bottle once there are no more fruit flies visible in it. Fruit flies take about 8-10 days to mature from hatching from eggs, so continue to use elimination methods even if you see the flies are gone. This will certainly mean that their future generations will also be eliminated.
