Vodopád Skok waterfall
One of Slovakia's most popular waterfalls is Vodopád Skok waterfall. It is situated in the Mlynická dolina valley, in the High Tatras mountains. Several chains are used to secure the 30-meter-high waterfall's rise. In 90 minutes of walking from the resort of Trbské Pleso, you may reach the waterfall. The trail runs through descending granite slabs and is chained off to the waterfall. But do not panic; it is a simple hike that is appropriate for families with little children. From Strbske Pleso, you may travel there.
Among the most frequented waterfalls in the Tatras are these ones. A system of multi-terraced cascades is created by them. The higher, also known as Obrovsk vodopád (The Giant waterfall), may be clearly seen from the bridge on the Tatras' major tourist route. The 20-meter-deep profusion is formed by the white-foamed water plunging down the trough and passing between two rocks. The lower waterfall's poetic name, Trojit vodopád, which translates to "the waterfall of artists", is used in both Hungarian and German. It is rarely visited since it is buried deep into the forest. There are four more waterfalls below the meeting point of the Vek and Mal Studen potok brooks. The Mal vodopád waterfall's cascade is the highest of them all. The Skryt vodopád waterfall is located at a height of 1,247 m, while the bottom part of the Vek vodopád waterfall's cascades is located at a lower elevation of 1,226 m. Its 13-meter-tallest cascade.
