In 1974, they opened their first branch office, Orange County Door Repair. They changed their name to Door Repair Corporation in 1978 and launched a service center in San Diego. Then they needed a new name in 1979 to reflect their extensive range of door installation and maintenance services. They wanted their new name to convey a sense of strength and motion, as well as indicate a forward-thinking organization. As a result, "Vortex" was chosen.
Vortex offers quick service, so they'll be there when you need them and have an instant safety or security concern. For the shortest response time in the business, they run 30 self-performing Service Centers and over 350 well-stocked Service Trucks.
Their curtains come in a variety of sizes, depending on the size, weight, and operation of the door, they produce rolling doors with push/pull, motor, or hand chain action. The productions are made in clear anodized aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel.
