Voxeljet AG offers industrial and commercial clients in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia Pacific, and the Americas three-dimensional (3D) printers and on-demand component services. Systems and services comprise its two business divisions. The Systems division creates, produces, and markets 3D printers.

Additionally, this division provides consumables, including maintenance agreements, spare parts, and patented chemical binding agents. In addition to using 3D computer-aided design at its service center to produce parts, molds, cores, and models for its clients, the services sector also offers casting services.

With its direct sales team and a network of sales agents, it provides services to foundries and suppliers, universities and research institutes, the automotive, aerospace, art and architecture, engineering, and consumer goods end sectors. In January 2004, the business changed its name from Voxeljet Technologies GmbH to Voxeljet AG. The German company voxeljet AG was established in 1999 and has its headquarters there.
