The Washington School House is an iconic historic landmark located in Park City, Utah. After the completion of a total interior renovation (think gutted to the studs), this fabulously preserved 1889 limestone gem reopened in December 2011. The concept? Simple, truly. To provide a level of chic sophistication to a discerning traveler that is outside the box. This one-of- a-kind discriminating attitude applies to everything – down to those aforementioned studs. The building is fantastic. They made it a little more fantastic by terracing an outdoor pool/spa into the hillside. And let's talk about the location. In the heart of historic Park City, basking in mountain-urban swank of remarkable dining, shopping and après-ski all within blocks.

The design of the twelve suites and rooms – unrivaled. The finishes? Exceptional. They particularly LOVE the reclaimed oak barn wood floors, locally quarried Utah quartzite, and mountain ice white marble in the baths. The furnishings, you ask? They have assembled a collection of European antiques, antique contemporary paintings, crystal chandeliers, silver cutlery and serving items… They may have to drag you out of the room to take you up the mountain. (Don't worry, it's an empty threat. They can't leave, either.) But I hope you relax. And enjoy. Our staff is ready to exceed your expectations.
