Washington Square

The park is a fantastic site to start a walking tour of San Francisco because it is located in North Beach. The park offers views of Coit Tower in the distance and Saints Peter and Paul Church across the street, where Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio got married. Washington Square hosts cultural events, festivals, and movie evenings throughout the year.
