Wego
Wego is a Japanese fashion retailer that specializes in casual and Harajuku-style clothing and accessories for both men and women. The brand was founded in 1994 by Masashi Nakazawa, who opened the first Wego store in Osaka as a thrift store that sold secondhand clothing.
Wego soon became popular among young and fashionable customers who loved its unique and affordable designs. Wego expanded its business to Tokyo in 1998 and opened its flagship store in Harajuku in 2003. Today, Wego has over 160 stores across Japan and an online store that ships worldwide.
Wego also produces its own clothing line and has several sub-brands that target different segments of the market, such as PUNYUS for plus-size customers, Figments for unisex bags, and W♡C for girly accessories. Wego is also known for its collaborations with various artists and celebrities, such as Naomi Watanabe, Casper, and HOT STUFF.
With offices and partnerships across various countries, Wego continues to grow its global presence while maintaining its headquarters in Japan.
