Wonderla Amusement Park, India
Wonderla is said to be the best amusement park in the city (and one of the best in the country), and it attracts thrill seekers. While it is best known for its high-thrill dry rides, it also has some relaxed, fun rides, so there is something for everyone.
Wonderla is a fantastic amusement and water park with over 60 rides that is located on Mysore road just outside of Bangalore. One of the main talking points of the park is its collection of "High-thrill rides," which is quite well known. Additionally, it has the first "reverse looping roller coaster" ever built in India, which allows riders to ride both straight and backward. Another great attraction is the water park, which has a variety of slides that range from exhilarating to relaxing.
Wonderla, like all amusement parks, has some signature rides. While all of the rides are fantastic and exciting, Wonderla Bangalore is best known for its high-thrill dry rides that provide an insanely exhilarating experience. Recoil (the roller coaster), Flash Tower, Maverick, Maverick, Giant Ferris Wheel, and Korneto are just a few examples.
Excellent locker and changing room facilities, with separate areas for men and women, are available at Wonderla Bangalore. The prices for the lockers are perfectly reasonable: INR 170 for each locker plus a 100 INR deposit. You receive an RFID band that you can wear like a watch to access the locker; in fact, you can load extra cash into the band so that you can use it as a prepaid wallet to make purchases in the park. If you didn't remember to bring your wet clothes from home, you can also purchase them from the store inside the park for a fair price.
Solar-powered technologies keep the water in Wonderla at a comfortable temperature of 28 degrees, and you can see a number of solar panels on the roofs from the tops of rides. Although all of the shops inside accept card payments, and you can also use the convenient RFID method for payments inside the park, there is an ATM near the entrance gate. There are a number of other amenities here as well, such as a large conference room for corporate outings and a variety of ways to make the park accessible to the differently abled.
Reaching Wonderla could be difficult given its distance from the major city. But it doesn't have to be with a little bit of preparation and investigation. Of course, driving your own car or renting a car for the day is the most practical option. In addition, BMTC operates a unique Volvo bus service from/to Wonderla. Early in the morning, the buses leave from ITLP, Majestic, Koramangala, and HSR, arriving at Wonderla just before 11 AM.
