WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business)
The Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) is not only located in the world's most livable city, but it is also Europe's largest university of its kind. WU presently has over 23,000 students from 110 countries learning and preparing for a great future in business or academia. WU offers 15 master's degree programs in total.
WU provides a total of 15 master's degrees, eight of which are taught exclusively in English, in addition to its three bachelor's programs and various executive education programs for professionals. With the exception of Business Law, which can begin in the spring semester, all programs begin in the autumn.
WU relocated from its original home in Vienna's 9th district to a completely new campus between the Vienna Exhibition Hall and Prater Park in the fall of 2013. The new location is approximately 100,000 m 2 in size and provides a complete, user-friendly infrastructure. The seven impressive building complexes on Campus WU were designed by world-renowned architects and house classrooms and auditoriums outfitted with cutting-edge teaching and learning technology, numerous project rooms for group work, independent study areas, and comfortable lounges for students, faculty, and staff. Several prizes for sustainable building have also been bestowed on the site.
