Xtrema
The best pans have ceramic coatings because they are nonstick and safer than Teflon. However, the pans' poor heat retention, short lifetime, and potential exposure to too much aluminum are drawbacks. Other than that, none of those restrictions apply to Xtrema's non-toxic ceramic cookware. Xtrema cookware is 100% ceramic from the core to the surface, making it the safest cookware on the market. It has no coatings, so it won't scratch or flake, and because of its similar heat retention to cast iron, it makes for superb browning, searing, and even heating.
Additionally, you don't have to be concerned about scratching off the coating and damaging your pan or pot because this is ceramic through and through rather than merely ceramic-coated metal. This cookware is dishwasher safe and may also be used in the microwave. Even Xtrema claims the cookware is suitable for campfires, but I would still use caution given the risk of thermal shock with pure ceramic.
Despite being made of ceramic, these pots and pans weigh around 40% less than their cast iron equivalents of the same size. This makes them a reasonable compromise if you prefer cast iron's simplicity but find its weight to be difficult. Altogether, most customers rate Xtrema as the most versatile and unique cookware they’ve ever used.
