Zest Anchor
Zest's was founded in 1972 as a tiny dental laboratory in San Diego, California. Max Zuest, the original founder, learned about the ongoing issues his clinician clients were having with their patients' overdentures in 1976. During this time, Zest Attachment developed a solution that was thought to be significantly superior to what was currently available on the market. When Mr. Zuest's son Paul formally joined him and released the second-generation Zest Anchor Advanced Generation (ZAAG) Attachment in 1977, Zest Anchors were created.
Zest Dental Solutions is a portfolio company of BC Partners, a well-known private equity corporation. Tom Stratton, the company's president and chief executive officer, oversaw daily operations. Through its main product, LOCATOR, the company has gained recognition as the top overdenture attachment in the dentistry sector. Over 100 manufacturers have collaborated with Zest to alter its unique LOCATOR Attachment System to be compatible with their individual implant platforms.
Zest offers doctors treating real-world issues related to edentulism dental supplies and products for overdenture modification and processing, world-class tiny-diameter implant systems, and detachable and fixed implant restorative solutions.
With the addition of Iveri Whitening and Danville Materials, a pioneer in tiny equipment and dental supplies, the company has further broadened its product line. With this diversification, Zest has become a true solutions-based organization for the treatment of entire edentulism as well as a continuum of patient care, from the preservation of natural teeth. With satellite offices in Anaheim and Escondido, California, Zest's global headquarters are located in Carlsbad, California.
