Chaika the Coffin Princess

Hitsugi no Chaika, another name for Chaika the Coffin Princess, is an anime adaptation of the light novel series by Ichirou Sakaki and Namaniku ATK. The studio Bones produced the anime adaption, which debuted in Japan from April to June 2014 for its first season before airing again from October to December the same year. Chaika Trabant, a young girl who carries a coffin on her back, is the focus of the narrative. Chaika, who identifies as a sorceress in a world that is emerging from a major conflict, employs Toru Acura and his sister Akari, both of whom were once warriors, to travel with her as she sets out to collect her father, the late Emperor Gaz, who was dispersed throughout the planet. These relics, called the "Emperor's Gaz," have strong magical abilities. Along the way, they run into several challenges and other parties in search of the Emperor's Gaz.
