  1. SeaDream Yacht Club is a private cruise line with its headquarters in Oslo, Norway. It was founded in 2001 by Atle Brynestad, the Norwegian founder of Seabourn Cruise Line.

Established in 2001, SeaDream Yacht Club launched with twin mega-yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II, and has achieved the industry’s highest accolades. “It’s Yachting, Not Cruising” defines SeaDream’s mission: to provide a casual yachting experience that exceeds guests’ expectations as they explore the world’s most amazing destinations. This is their pleasure.

The SeaDream team, both shoreside and aboard, enjoy knowing they are providing unprecedented levels of luxury and service. SeaDream’s guests appreciate that whatever they choose to do (or not to do, for that matter) during their yachting holiday, they will be experiencing one of the best vacation experiences at sea. When designing SeaDream Yacht Club, Mr. Brynestad knew it would be the attention to detail and all important impeccable service that would define yachting in the true sense of the word.

All guest rooms have an ocean view and the SeaDream experience is inclusive. Whether dining al fresco or in the salon, relaxing by the pool or enjoying a spa treatment, playing a round of golf in a golf simulator, or taking a mountain bike ashore and exploring the port of call, their guests know that they are experiencing the most personalized and pampered holiday at sea. SeaDream I and SeaDream II itineraries are designed to call upon the most intimate ports, harbors, and yachting playgrounds that larger ships cannot reach.

From May through October, SeaDream I and SeaDream II sail the Mediterranean Sea. From November through April, the twin, mega-yachts visit the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

  2. Founded in 1840 by Samuel Cunard, this iconic cruise line established the first regular transatlantic steamship service. The three Cunard ships are named after English Queens – so you’re getting the royal treatment off the bat.

The fleet includes the legendary Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria. An additional ship is being built in Italy at present, with input from some of the best interior designers in the world.

The Cunard Grill Suites are the last word in luxury, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a personal butler, Champagne and chocolates, and access to exclusive dining venues. There are also gastro pubs and steakhouse eateries onboard. Afternoon tea is a lovely tradition onboard the Cunard fleet, served by white-gloved waiters. Pamper yourself in The Mareel Spa by purchasing a single or multiday pass. There’s a spacious thermal suite, hydrotherapy pool, and relaxation area.

On 25 May 2015, the three Cunard ships – Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria – sailed up the Mersey into Liverpool to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Cunard. The ships performed maneuvers, including 180-degree turns, as the Red Arrows performed a fly-past. Just over a year later Queen Elizabeth returned to Liverpool under Captain Olsen to take part in the celebrations of the centenary of the Cunard Building on 2 June 2016.

  3. Paul Gauguin Cruises is a cruise line that was owned by Beachcomber Croisieres Limited until 2019 when it was purchased by French company Compagnie du Ponant. Paul Gauguin Cruises operates cruises with one luxury ship, the Paul Gauguin, to Tahiti, French Polynesia, and the South Pacific.

The cruise line is named after the 19th-century painter Paul Gauguin, who spent ten years living with and painting the people and nature of the Polynesia area. The well-appointed staterooms have an elevated, modern look and feel. Upscale armchairs, sofas, curtains, textiles, and linens are complemented by new lighting and refinished woodwork. This stylish personal space, all your own, will have you feeling right at home in Tahiti and her islands.

Enjoy a verdant new vibe while having dinner in L’Etoile, The Gauguin’s main dining room. You’ll be greeted by two large tikis on pedestals and pass lushly-illustrated Tahitian landscapes as you make your way to your table. Bench seating and armchairs are clad in velvet and leather, and the inspired carpets, textiles, and curtains are lit by oak wood wall sconces and a bamboo chandelier.

You’ll be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner poolside in open-aired Le Grill which features new textiles and lighting, refreshed wood accents, and a dropped-ceiling buffet—along with delicious traditional Polynesian fare.

La Veranda is the perfect place to dine al fresco! Enjoy delicious breakfast or lunch either indoors or outside aft, enjoying 180° views of your island landscape. New armchairs, textiles, and woodwork, as well as a thatched dropped ceiling, accompany a custom-built wine rack. These updates also lend toward the elegant French bistro atmosphere of La Veranda for dinner.

  7. Cruising on a Seabourn ship is unlike any other form of travel. The experience is luxurious, yet relaxed — elegant, yet casual — sumptuous, yet understated. Their intimate ships visit the most desirable destinations worldwide, sailing to the heart of landmark cities, as well as to hidden gems that larger vessels cannot follow.

    Seabourn
pioneered small-ship, ultra-luxury cruising, and continues to represent the pinnacle of that unique style of travel. Their fleet of intimate, all-suite ships, carrying between 458 and 600 guests each, sail to the world’s most desirable destinations at their peak seasons. Onboard, guests are served by an award-wining crew numbering nearly as many as the guests, hand-picked and extensively trained to deliver Seabourn’s signature style of thoughtful, personalized, and heartfelt hospitality. Seabourn’s ships attract accomplished people who enjoy traveling well and sharing fun and adventures with other interesting people. A great many of them have found the Seabourn cruise experience to be their preferred method of travel, and return regularly to sail with them again and again. They would welcome the opportunity to explore whether that might be true for you.

In 2009, Seabourn again raised the bar with the debut of Seabourn Odyssey, hailed as “a game-changer for the ultra-luxury segment.” Although larger than the original Seabourn sisters, Seabourn Odyssey carries just 458 guests and offers a wealth of amenities made possible by the highest ratio of space per guest in the cruise industry, including the largest spa on any luxury ship and generous private verandas on 90 percent of her suites. Seabourn Odyssey has since been joined by two identical sisters, Seabourn Sojourn in 2010 and Seabourn Quest in 2011. Their first 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Encore, was delivered in 2016 and a second 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Ovation, was delivered in Spring 2018.

Azamara prides itself on its patented Destination Immersion program. This is where certain activities are included or complimentary. Imagine experiencing the St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra free of charge! There are currently four cruise ships in their luxury fleet: Azamara Journey, Azamara Quest, Azamara Pursuit, and the latest addition, Azamara Onward. These intimate ships can dock at locations that large ships can’t reach.

Azamara Cruises was founded in 2007 after two R-class ships from Pullmantur Cruises that would have gone to Celebrity Cruises were transferred to the new company. The first ships of the company were the Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey. They make cruises to exotic locations, competing with Oceania Cruises. Azamara currently operates four ships.

They belong to the eight R-class ships that were built for Renaissance Cruises between 1997 and 2001. The Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey both entered service in 2000 under the original names R Six and R Seven. In March 2018, Adonia was also taken over from P&O Cruises and renamed Azamara Pursuit. The acquisition of another ship, the Pacific Princess, a sister ship to the other ships in the fleet, was also announced. It was handed over in March 2021 and initially renamed P Prince.
