Paul Gauguin Cruises is a cruise line that was owned by Beachcomber Croisieres Limited until 2019 when it was purchased by French company Compagnie du Ponant. Paul Gauguin Cruises operates cruises with one luxury ship, the Paul Gauguin, to Tahiti, French Polynesia, and the South Pacific.

The cruise line is named after the 19th-century painter Paul Gauguin, who spent ten years living with and painting the people and nature of the Polynesia area. The well-appointed staterooms have an elevated, modern look and feel. Upscale armchairs, sofas, curtains, textiles, and linens are complemented by new lighting and refinished woodwork. This stylish personal space, all your own, will have you feeling right at home in Tahiti and her islands.

You’ll be greeted by two large tikis on pedestals and pass lushly-illustrated Tahitian landscapes as you make your way to your table. Bench seating and armchairs are clad in velvet and leather, and the inspired carpets, textiles, and curtains are lit by oak wood wall sconces and a bamboo chandelier.

You’ll be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner poolside in open-aired Le Grill which features new textiles and lighting, refreshed wood accents, and a dropped-ceiling buffet—along with delicious traditional Polynesian fare.

La Veranda is the perfect place to dine al fresco! Enjoy delicious breakfast or lunch either indoors or outside aft, enjoying 180° views of your island landscape. New armchairs, textiles, and woodwork, as well as a thatched dropped ceiling, accompany a custom-built wine rack. These updates also lend toward the elegant French bistro atmosphere of La Veranda for dinner.
