Top 3 Best Movies of Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie is one of Hollywood’s most promising actresses right now. Though she is not an U.S performer (she comes from Australia), Robbie has successfully ... read more...

  1. Director Quentin Tarantino aspires to create - or, at the least - rewrite history. His World War II film "Inglorious Bastards" distorted reality, whereas "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" completely changed the history of Hollywood.

"Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" wraps the golden age of Hollywood around the necks of the film's protagonists and its creative crew. The main character Rick Dalton cannot be a matinee idol permanently - and neither can Leonardo DiCaprio, as the film's spectacular "The Getaway" song remix demonstrates. This concept imparts a sensation of breaching the fourth wall to each scene and casting choice, including Margot Robbie's performance as actress Sharon Tate.

Tate, like Robbie herself, was a similarly promising newbie in the acting field. She spends most of Tarantino's film living a regular Los Angeles existence, frequenting nightclubs, appreciating the city, and sometimes shooting projects. This enables us to see the character Sharon Tate as a dazzling individual she really was, and not a pale imitation. And then, gradually, the movie gives us a sense of who she may have been if unfortunate events had not occurred.

It is a fantastic testament to both Quentin Tarantino and Robbie that these incredible moments - seemingly lacking stakes at first glance - only improve with the audience's repeated viewings. Tate was unable to escape the tribulations of life, but "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" allows her to do so. Thanks to the actress' incredible performance, this is among the best movies of Margot Robbie.

  2. "The Wolf of Wall Street" is among Martin Scorsese's top five films. It is a mammoth accomplishment, barely 14 minutes less than "Titanic" but immensely more kinetic. It's a raucous narrative about selfishness and American materialism that sometimes doubles as gonzo humor.

However, its exaggerations are not excesses. The more outlandish aspects of the film are taken directly from Jordan Belfort's autobiography, which is why Margot Robbie is indeed the film's hidden weapon.

Prior to the publication of "The Wolf of Wall Street," Robbie was mostly unfamiliar to Americans who had not seen her movie "Pan Am." That means Robbie's exaggerated figure and comedic timing were both new discoveries, and the actress used them together to massage - and then shatter - the audience's and Belfort's ogling eyes.

The actress was also artistically accountable for the film's most provocative and unforgettable sequences, wherein Leonardo DiCaprio encounters her when she is wearing just heels and black stockings. The scene reveals Naomi Lapagila's emotional maturity as well as her physical beauty, and Robbie's ability to execute such a difficult scene before the age of 23 was an early indication of her acting skills.

Robbie steals the spotlight in a film featuring the world's most renowned actors, which is why we decide that The Wolf of Wall Street is definitely among the best movies of Margot Robbie.

  3. "Birds of Prey" truly has it all: Harley Quinn, eggs, sandwiches, Ewen McGregor's finest performance of his career, and are those a sequence from "Cabaret"? (No, it's simply Jurnee Smollett-Ball dominating).

The debut film of director Cathy Yan is a mixture of vicious beatdowns and frantic humor - a film as enthrallingly crafted as the messy breakfast food that propels its story. It is also Margot Robbie's strongest performance as Harley Quinn, in which she reshapes - but does not reboot - the character's basic core.

In the Warner Bros film "Suicide Squads," Harley is Joker's glistening accessory. "Birds of Prey" avoided this terrible past to get to the exciting action sequences more quickly, unlike some worse DC films. Instead, Robbie and Yan are motivated by Harley's divorce from Joker to let Harley emotionally unravel. Harley gets intoxicated in nightclubs, develops deep connections with people, acquires a hyena, and continues to kick a lot of enemies. Without Robbie's acting and amazing stunt work, none of that would work!

Bires of Prey shows us the differences between a male and a female director, and is certainly a must-watch for any devoted feminist. DC, please give us the second movie already!
