Peacock may now be considered one of the top streaming services, thanks to parent company NBCU's successful collaboration with Amazon - the service is now available on Fire TV. It's taken nearly a year, but it's finally here. The Tokyo Olympics were severely delayed during that time, and while this isn't Peacock's responsibility, it did take away one of the most compelling reasons to use the service. Peacock, who also streamed this year's Super Bowl, handled the subsequent Winter Olympics wonderfully. Peacock is becoming better at live events.

For a variety of reasons, Tom's Guide subscribes to Peacock. Some, like Peacock Originals Girls5eva and Vigil, have proven to be two of the favorite new episodes – the type of shows that make you want to upgrade from Peacock's free to paid tier. Only one member of staff (Henry) has Peacock for WWE live events and material. In addition, the Saved By The Bell reboot far exceeded expectations. The one thing we'd like Peacock to include? You may pause, rewind, and fast forward live streams, as well as start from the beginning if you're late.

Amazon Prime is a no-brainer for people who conduct the majority of their shopping online. You get free two-day delivery on all purchases, a free Kindle book every month, and unlimited access to both Amazon Music and Amazon Prime Video for $139 (previously $119) a year. Amazon Prime Video, like Netflix, offers a wonderful menu of movies, television shows, and original programming (the best Amazon shows range from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Man in the High Castle to Reacher and The Boys). However, unlike Netflix, Prime Video's new series appear to be few and far between, as its output rates don't quite match those of Netflix or HBO Max.

The Boys, Amazon Prime Video's biggest success, grew its audience significantly in season 2 and got its own spin-off. What you might not like about Prime Video is how different its apps are across different platforms. You may find fewer sorting and discovery options on Roku, Apple TV, and Chromecast than you did on Fire TV devices when testing Prime Video.
