The main industries include meat, fish, and cotton processing, and the city continues to function as Chad's economic hub.

N'djamena is a mash-up of contemporary and historical cultures. Because many inhabitants of the country desire the opportunities that come with life in the city, N'Djamena's population is rising at an alarming rate. Despite some buildings' modern appearances, many mud-brick constructions will remind you that you are still in one of the world's poorest countries. The vibrant bars must be fueled by hundreds of generators that bolster the national grid since the nightlife here is absolutely incredible. During the day, the national museum, which chronicles Chad's history over thousands of years, and the central market are the two primary attractions.

    Ennedi

The Ennedi Plateau is a vast maze of rocks and stones that is one of Chad's most beautiful destinations. This is a geological anomaly with a 60,000-square-kilometer footprint. Like sculptures, caves, ponds, and stone arches emerge from the sand. Many petroglyphs - thousands-year-old rock paintings - were uncovered on the rocks at the turn of the century. Animals and people, as well as horse riders and soldiers, were represented by the ancients. This is a gallery that is open to the public.

The landscape is harsh, with scorpions and beetles aplenty, but it also has some of the world's most magnificent and bizarre rock formations. The landscape is largely flat, but there are massive stone arches and jagged rock formations that look like natural works of art that protrude up from time to time. The area is difficult to reach and difficult to survive in, necessitating meticulous planning and provisions, yet those who come here are rewarded with some of the world's most breathtaking natural scenery.

  5. The Tibesti Mountains climb about three kilometers above the Sahara plains. This 40-thousand-square-kilometer mountain plateau is located in the heart of the world's largest desert. The craters of several ancient extinct volcanoes can be seen on the peaks of the highlands. Emi Koussi (3415m), Tousside (3265m), and Mouskorbe (3415m) are three very huge sleeping volcanoes that rise in the highlands' corners (3376m). The gorges, caves, and canyons created by the rocks form a unique labyrinth.

Tibesti, unlike the rest of the nation, receives snow every year. In Chad, over 15,000 people, mostly nomadic Tubu tribes, dwell in these areas. Cattle breeding is practiced, as well as the production of goats, sheep, camels, and donkeys.

The summit is actually a massive extinct volcano, and only the most experienced climbers should attempt it. There are numerous exciting things to do in the area for visitors, like camel racing, viewing ancient rock art, and relaxing in the surrounding hot thermal springs
