  1. Grammarly is a cloud-based typing aid headquartered in the United States. It examines spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, engagement, and delivery faults in English documents, detects plagiarism, and proposes replacements. Users can also adjust their style, tone, and context-specific terminology. Alex Shevchenko, Max Lytvyn, and Dmytro Lider founded Grammarly in 2009. It's accessible as a desktop application, a browser plugin optimized for Google Documents, and a smartphone keyboard.

You've probably heard of Grammarly, a spelling and grammar checker. It not only checks your writing for errors, but also explains them to you so you don't make the same ones again. They've also compiled a plethora of rules, statistics, and tips on every conceivable grammar topic and assembled them in a guidebook. The themes are clearly organized so that you can quickly find out what you need to know about adverbs, commas, and capital letters. Even more challenging topics, including as English idioms and passive voice, are covered in the Grammarly Handbook. Explanations are written in a blog-like style, using whole paragraphs rather than a few words. As a result, it's an excellent resource for more advanced students. Grammarly is a website for native English speakers who wish to improve their grammar, not for English learners. As a result, the recommendations may be a little daunting for beginner/intermediate learners.

The organization has been described as a soft power extension of UK foreign policy as well as a propaganda instrument.

Practice English grammar with clear grammatical explanations and practice tasks to evaluate your comprehension. The learning resources are divided into two areas, one for each English level. As they learn English, all learners, regardless of level, have concerns and worries regarding grammar. There is also a grammar reference to help teach verb tenses and grammar rules in a clear and simple manner. Choose a grammar point to work on and decide which area of grammar you need help with today. You may see how well you did when you complete the interactive exercises. You will gain confidence in English and enhance your language level by revising and practicing your grammar. The greatest approach to improve your grammar is to practice it frequently, so come back tomorrow to pick another grammatical issue to work on.

  7. Grammar Monster was launched as a website in September 2003. Grammar Monster was created in 2001 by Craig Shrives (a former British Army officer) as a 15-page pamphlet to assist coworkers with their punctuation and sentence patterns. When photocopies of the pamphlet circulated, one ended up on the desk of a senior officer, who asked Craig to present its contents to the officers of the unit as part of a staff-development session. As a result, the book was redesigned as a series of PowerPoint lessons. To make the site more interactive, he transferred his BASIC programming abilities from his adolescence to some basic JavaScript and included a confirmation test to each course. It was 2003, and the internet was still in its infancy.

Grammar Monster, as one of the earliest grammar sites on the internet, drew a lot of attention from the world's grammarians, who, predictably, killed the content. Craig initially defended the orthodoxy that was seen on far too many of Grammar Monster's pages. But, as the complaints and observations began to pour in, he learned to embrace them and utilize them as springboards for additional research to aid in the fine-tuning of the site's content. Because almost 60% of Grammar Monster's visitors are Americans, the site is written in American English. For example, the serial comma is used instead of the British "full stop" and "brackets", and the words "period" and "parentheses" are used instead of "full stop" and "brackets".
