Daily Grammar

Daily Grammar is an entertaining and accessible method to study grammar. Daily Grammar is an excellent teaching tool for both public and home-schooled children, ESL students, and anyone who needs to brush up on their English grammatical abilities. Everybody who can read will be able to master English grammar by practicing language rules. Through the Daily Grammar Blog, they offer a free email service. Lessons will be posted to the blog Monday through Friday, with a quiz on Saturday. Any blog posts will be instantly sent to you. They also have a Twitter account where they will post links to their lectures on a daily basis.

There are 440 lessons and 88 tests in Daily Grammar. Verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections are covered in Lessons 1–90. Courses 91-300 address sentence parts such appositives, predicate nominatives, direct objects, prepositional phrases, clauses, and verbals. Lessons 301-440 teach grammar mechanics, often known as capitalization and punctuation. The archive page contains links to all of these grammar lectures and quizzes.

They also provide a useful glossary, which makes it simple to locate definitions for a variety of grammar words. Pete Peterson, former Executive Vice President of Word Perfect, is the creator of Daily Grammar. Pete wanted to create a simple approach to teach language to those who needed it. Pete sought the assistance of Mr. Bill Johanson, a thirty-year English-teaching veteran, to realize his goal. All of the Daily Grammar lessons are written by Mr. Bill Johanson. He has been teaching English classes in high school and junior high schools for thirty years and has done an excellent job of preparing his students for college.
