  1. South China Mall in Dongguan, China will become the world's second-largest shopping center after Iran Mall in 2021. These include musical fountains, food courts, mosques and hotels.

    South China Mall opened in 2005 and has been almost empty for over 10 years and has few registered merchants. According to a 2015 CNN article, the mall is still largely empty, but has begun to attract tenants after major renovations and renovations.

    Another article published in January 2018 reported that after over a decade of high occupancy, most retail spaces were almost full and the mall had IMAX-style cinemas and theme parks.

  2. SM Supermall, owned by SM Prime Holdings, is a shopping mall chain operating a total of 76 shopping malls across the Philippines by early 2021.

    The company also has seven shopping centers in China, including SM Tianjin, the world's third-largest shopping center in terms of total rental area. It covers an area of 565,000 square meters (6,080,000 sq. Ft.) and has more than 2,500 shops. SM Tianjin consists of five different buildings, each named after five traditional Chinese elements: earth, fire, water, metal and wood. Opened in 2016, it is the second-largest shopping mall in China.

  3. Golden Resources Shopping Center is a large shopping center located near Northwest 4 Ring Road in Beijing, People's Republic of China. At the time of opening, it was the largest shopping center in terms of total rental area. By 2021, it will be the third-largest shopping mall in the world after Iran Mall and South China Mall. It can be reached by taking the Beijing Metro from Changchun Bridge Station on Line 10.

    Golden Resources Shopping Center is also known as China's Great Trade Center. It has a total area of 560,000 square meters (6 million square feet) spread over six floors. At 1.5 times the size of Mall of America, Golden Resources Mall was the largest shopping center in the world from 2004 to 2005.

    Currently, an additional subway line, Line 12, is under construction and is expected to open in 2022.

  4. New Century Global Center is a newly built shopping mall in Chengdu. The New Century Global Center is very large. It has become the number one tourist shopping center in mainland China. Designed as a separate city. There is a private beach of over 1 km. This is twice the size of the existing Dubai Mall and New South China Mall, the largest shopping mall in Guangdong.

    With a total construction area of approximately 1.76 million square meters, the New Century Global Center opened in 2013 and is one of the largest single buildings in the world.
