Community Free Dental Clinic is the only organization of its kind, providing free dental services to low-income, elderly, and veterans living at or below the poverty level in Madison County, Alabama. Due to the overwhelming need of patients for extractions, this is their primary focus.
They have treated over 8,700 patients since opening in March 2013, that is a total of over $3,480,000 donated services to Huntsville and Madison County uninsured residents.
The Community Free Dental Clinic (CFDC) opened its doors March 2013 and what a community response they have encountered! The response for service tripled beyond projection, and now CFDC has great need for funding to continue this much needed organization.
To date, over 8,600 county residents have been evaluated and treated with over $3,480,000 worth of services. Assessments by professional dental staff and registered nurses have included extractions, biopsies of mouth tumors, blood pressure and blood sugar problems, and other abnormalities.
