  1. The first name on the list of the most beautiful caves in Morocco is the Caves of Hercules. The Caves of Hercules is an archaeological cave complex in Morocco's Cape Spartel. The popular tourist attraction is located 14 kilometers west of Tangier, next to the King of Morocco's summer palace.

The cave has two entrances, one to the sea and the other to the land. "The Map of Africa" is the name given to the sea opening. The Phoenicians are thought to have created the sea opening that resembles Africa when viewed from the sea. There are also some eye-shaped markings on the wall that are said to have been made by the Phoenicians and form a map of the local area. The Caves of Hercules is partially natural and partially man-made. Berber people used the man-made part to cut stone wheels from the cave walls to make millstones, greatly expanding the cave. Both free and paid entrances are available. The cave costs five Moroccan dirhams per person, plus an additional five dirhams for a guide, but other currencies are accepted.

  2. The Friouato Caves are about 30 kilometers south of the Moroccan city of Taza. The farthest known point is about 272 meters away, but its true limits remain unknown. Experts estimate that the trail's length is about six kilometers. There are also signs of an underground river near the Grottes of Chiker, which is thought to flow. Many explorers have visited Friouato Caves, according to residents of the nearby village, some of whom have never returned. In 1969, a cave diving expedition led by Exeter University Speleological Society discovered more large chambers and shafts after passing through two static sumps. The system culminates in a massive boulder choke.

This could be the same massive boulder choke that can be seen at the end of the upstream passages of the nearby Grotte du Chiker. The same group of cavers discovered this choke in 1969. The Cerberus Speleological Society of the United Kingdom took photographs of both cave systems in 1976 during an expedition.

  3. Kef Toghobeit Cave is the next name on the list of the most beautiful caves in Morocco. Kef Toghobeit is a karst cave near the Bab Taza settlement in Chefchaouen Province, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Morocco. It is the deepest cave in Morocco and the third deepest in Africa, with a length of 4,078 meters and a depth of 722 meters. Despite the fact that Kef Toghobeit has been extensively explored, its full extent is unknown. Indeed, the karst topography of the Rif mountain range, where the cave begins, has only recently been mapped - there are only about 1000 caves known in Morocco, and geology suggests that there are many more.

In a 30,000 square kilometer area of Karst formation in Morocco, Kef Toghobeit Cave is just one of over a thousand caves. The cave was formed in the Rif mountain range, which is mostly made up of soft minerals like dolomite and limestone. The annual precipitation rate is 600 to 1000 mm due to winter snowfall and rainfall. Heavy rain erodes the soft minerals quickly, forming deep caves where the water wore away at the stone.
