  1. International Festival of Arts belongs to the list of the most famous festivals in Belarus. This lively festival is held in Vitebsk every July and is dedicated to the celebration of Slavic music. In addition to those from the former Yugoslav states, the event will also attract participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Poland. Famous singers from the region listen to and perform Slavic songs with the support of the Belarusian National Concert Orchestra. The most successful country so far is Ukraine, with five victories on its behalf.

During the festival, a contest for young singers is held. It has two stages, each held on a separate day. On the first day, the contestants should perform the song in the national language of the country the contestant represents. All vocals are sung live using a backing track. On the second day, the contestants perform the song written by a composer from any Slavic country in any of the Slavic languages. On this stage, all vocals must be sung live with the National Concert Orchestra of Belarus under Mikhail Finberg's conduction.

  5. Ivan-Kupala Night in Belarus is connected to different interesting Slavic rituals and stories. Kupala Night is celebrated during the night from 6 to 7 July according to the Gregorian calendar and 23 to 24 June by the Julian calendar. Belarus kept this tradition in the most authentic way, as they celebrate the summer solstice every year with many rituals and customs. There are two special villages in Belarus where Belarusians celebrate Kupala Night - Dudutki and Strochitsy. The villages are near Minsk, and they are organizing different concerts and games on this day.

Many of the rites related to this holiday are connected with the role of water in fertility and ritual purification. This is due to the ancient Kupala rites. On Kupala day, young people jump over the flames of bonfires in a ritual test of bravery and faith.

Girls may float wreaths of flowers on rivers, and attempt to gain foresight into their romantic relationship fortune from the flow patterns of the flowers on the river. Men may attempt to capture the wreaths. You can also taste delicious Belarusian dishes during the celebration. Dudutki also offers horse-riding and interesting sightseeing, such as old historical buildings, etc.
