1 Utama – 5.59 million sq ft

1 Utama is one of the biggest shopping malls in Bandar Utam, Selangor, Malaysia. It has 713 stores on 5,590,000 square feet (519,000 m2). It is the largest shopping mall in Malaysia and one of the top 10 shopping malls in the world by 2021. The first phase of the shopping center, now known as the Old Wing, opened in September 1995. Demand for retail outlets within the mall was added in 2003 in a second phase called "New Building".

1 Utam has several shopping areas, restaurants, cafés, sports facilities, rainforests and a bus station with domestic and international amenities. The current anchor tenants of the shopping center are department stores and supermarkets AEON, Jaya Grocer and Parkson and Isetan department stores.

In 1996, the mall opened Malaysia's first IKEA store. The mall has won a handful of awards, including Gold at EdgeProp Malaysia's Best Managed Property Awards 2019 and Mall of the Year Platinum at the 2006/07 Retail World Excellence Awards.
