The company went even farther, insuring people with HIV/AIDS, a condition that was not well-known among insurers at the time. This distinguished 1life Insurance from other insurers. 1life Insurance was the first insurance firm in South Africa to sell life insurance over the internet and through their mobile site. It became easier for consumers to obtain life insurance as a result of this ease. Pure life insurance, disability insurance, dread disease insurance, and burial insurance are all available through 1life. The cover money can also aid in asset seizure because the amount can be used to settle any outstanding debts on assets. And medical examinations are not necessary, but an HIV test is required. For the first 24 months after purchasing life insurance, premiums remain unchanged. Premiums will then rise by 5% per year after that.
