Acapella Audio Arts
Acapella Audio Arts is a German loudspeaker manufacturer and one of the oldest hi-fi manufacturers in Germany. Alfred Rudolph and Herman Winters established the company in Duisburg, Germany, in 1978.
Acapella speakers are distinguished by the use of horn-loaded drivers. Horns can generate a more linear frequency response than other types of speakers, resulting in a more precise and natural sound.
Acapella Audio Arts has continued to innovate, and the company has produced a variety of proprietary technologies, including the Ion-Plasma Tweeter and the Spherical Horn. These technologies have contributed to Acapella speakers being some of the most accurate and transparent loudspeakers on the market.
Acapella speakers are quite pricey and are known for their great sound quality and utilization of novel technologies. The Violon, the most affordable variant, costs roughly $35,000. The Sphäron Excalibur, the most costly model, costs more than $450,000.
