Accountant

If you have an accounting degree and a CPA license, then becoming a full-time accountant is a no-brainer. But even if you don’t have a license, you can still work as an accountant as long as you have knowledge about business. There are many companies that offer remote jobs for fresh graduates with or without accounting backgrounds.

If you are determined to build a career in accounting, you can still accomplish it by working in a variety of finance roles right out of college. You may even get lucky and get a scholarship if you are a consistent performer in the company. Accountants with no experience can earn $71,000 per year; even $95,000 annually if he/she has at least five years of experience.

Remember that being an accountant requires detailed and meticulous work. An accountant and/or a bookkeeper is responsible for the finances of the company including the funds coming in from sales, funds dispersed to pay for overhead costs, and funds invested for possible business expansion.

In addition, not all companies rely on the same accounting practices as not all do business in the same industry or serve the same clients. Also, understanding the financial backbone of the organization you will be working for is essential for you to be effective on the job.
