Acne Studios

Acne Studios is a Stockholm-based multidisciplinary premium fashion brand that specialises in men's and women's ready-to-wear clothes, footwear, accessories, and denim. The label's name was taken from the creative collaborative ACNE when it was created in 1996; initially an acronym for Associated Computer Nerd Enterprises and eventually a backronym for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions.

Acne Studios has become a well-known designer of ready-to-wear, magazines, furniture, books, and exhibitions because of founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson's interest in photography, art, architecture, and current culture.

Acne Studios, the undisputed king of Scandinavian fashion labels, eschews minimalism in favor of a more maximalist, high-fashion aesthetic. This is evident in its buttery Napa leather jackets, which include everything from excessively large collars and shiny zips to belted waists that are both needless and unquestionably chic. Acne's sizing ranges from large to cropped and high on the shoulders. If you want to be noticed, you can't be average.
