Afro, often known as Afro Samurai, is the titular primary anti-hero of the same-named series. Afro is a gifted swordsman whose father was beheaded in front of his eyes when he was a child. Afro turned into a cold-blooded killer who was eager to kill anyone in his pursuit of being the number one because of that horrifying incident.

Afro Samurai is a cult favorite that features one of the best Black anime characters ever. As an adult, he stands about normal height and sports a massive fussy afro. His body is slender but well-built, and he has a dark complexion and brown eyes.

Afro Samurai is an outstanding program in every way, especially because it is based on Japan's first true Black samurai. Afro Samurai hits hard, whether it's the flesh-slicing moments or the action-packed soundtrack.

Despite the fact that the public has classified Afro as a monster, he is seen to have compassion within himself. He shows this by refusing to battle his longtime buddy and sworn sibling, Jinno. He also has a strong affection for his father, whom he refused to fight until the very end. Afro realizes what it means to wear one of the power headbands and dedicates his life to uncovering his father's killer. Ninja Ninja is his sole companion and pal who is still alive.
