Ahn Yong Seok

Yong-seok Ahn, Director of Korean Air and a partner of the Korean Competition Law Association and Lee & Ko. Ahn received his degree from the Visitor Committee of the University of Michigan Law School and his degree from Seoul National University.

CEO Ahn Yeon-seok has been working as a managing partner for Lee & Ko since March 2018. Prior to becoming Managing Partner, he was responsible for Lee & Ko's antitrust, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate affairs. Since joining Lee & Ko in 1989, he has defended multinational corporations related to Korean competition laws, including cartels, merger registrations, abuse of control, and unfair trade practices, before the Fair Trade Commission. He continues to be active in the field of mergers and acquisitions and has represented the interests of many multinational companies in acquisitions of Korean companies.
