Al Bateen Beach

This beautiful beach, located west of Abu Dhabi, overlooks Hudayriat Island and its bridge, and offers clear, quiet water ideal for fishing, swimming, and waterfront picnics. The beach here is a slice of excellently maintained golden-toned sand with views of Hudariyat Bridge and Hudariyat Island beyond.

The beach, which was awarded the renowned Blue Flag sustainability award by the Emirates Wildlife Authority, has 800 meters of beautiful shoreline and is ideal for beach volleyball or watersports activities such as kayaking, paddling, and more from the beach's watersports center. Clean facilities and showers are available, as are sun loungers with sunshades for rent and a few cafés serving cold drinks and snacks. If you wish to go exploring, you may rent kayaks on the beach. But this lively and family-friendly public beach may become a bit congested on weekends as local families gather here to dine and play.
