Al Fardan

At the beginning of the 20th century, at the height of the pearling industry, Hajj Ibrahim Hasan Al Fardan was one of the most prominent and respected pearl traders. Under his guidance, Mr. Hasan Ibrahim Al Fardan, the Honorary Chairman, established and developed one of the largest jewellery retailers in UAE – Al Fardan Fine Jewellery, in 1954.

The Arabian Gulf was the world’s first source of natural pearls and remained so for centuries. Natural pearls from the Gulf are notable for their crystal clear and high-lustre nacre. Nowhere else did pearl oyster grow pearl more plentiful, of such high quality, radiance, and size, as the Arabian Gulf waters. These types of natural salt sea pearls wrote Al Fardan’s history.

Today, Al Fardan continues to innovate and create a variety of fine and high jewellery pieces whilst maintaining its roots in local heritage and culture. This fourth-generation family business understands the importance of legacy and continues to showcase its expertise with timeless, handcrafted designs meant to last a lifetime.
